the exit interviews.

seven private conversations for women questioning the career they worked so hard to build.

something is happening in women’s relationship with work. more and more senior women have been reaching out to me.

  • women thinking about leaving.

  • women who have already left.

  • women who were pushed out.

so many that I’ve started connecting them to one another. and I realized we need a room for this conversation.

and the exit interviews was born.

this fall, I’m curating seven private conversations about leaving, staying and what happens when the career you worked so hard to build no longer fits the life you want.

i’ve invited 7 badass, accomplished women who have led at the highest levels and recently navigated exits of their own to join us.

not polished stories with tidy endings. the parts we talk about in private.

  • how did you know?

  • what changed? what finally became intolerable?

  • were you terrified to leave?

  • how did you navigate not knowing what came next?

  • would you make the same decision again?

  • and what if leaving isn’t actually the answer? can you stay differently?

this isn’t a course about how to quit your job. it’s a place to figure out where you are in your own process and move forward with wisdom from women who have been there.

spoiler alert: i don’t think women are losing their ambition. i think we are taking it back from old definitions of success and deciding where we want to put it next.

maybe you’ve built the big career and find yourself thinking, I don’t know if I want this anymore.

maybe you feel more ambitious than ever, but where you are no longer feels big enough for

where you’ve grown.

maybe staying has started to cost you more than you’re willing to pay.

maybe you want to leave, but the identity, security and life you’ve built make walking away feel impossible.

maybe you’re not running away from anything. You’re being pulled toward a life that feels bigger, freer or more your own.

you don’t have to know you’re leaving to know something needs to change.

who is this for?

the seven conversations.

we’ll explore the questions that come up before, during and after an exit.

1. the knowing

how do you know when something is actually over?
why are so many accomplished women looking at lives they worked incredibly hard to build and thinking, I don't want this anymore?

2. the decision

how do you know when it's actually time to go?
fear. money. identity. and the weight of everything you've built.
how do you know what you're willing to walk away from, and what you aren't?

3. the cost

what is staying costing you?
your body. your energy. your relationships.
we calculate the cost of leaving. why don't we calculate the cost of staying?

4. the leaving and void

how do you leave a life that has organized you?
the title disappears. the calendar empties. who are you without the thing you did?
how do you resist filling the space just because uncertainty is uncomfortable?
the space between who you were and who you're becoming is not a problem to solve as quickly as possible.

5. the reallocation

what do you want your ambition to build now?
maybe it's not less ambition. Maybe it's ambition redirected toward meaning, ownership and impact. or toward a bigger life altogether.
what becomes possible when the old scoreboard stops keeping score

6. the wisdom

is there something larger we are all waking up to?
what do women know now that they couldn't have known earlier in their careers?
and if leaving isn't the answer, what would it mean to stay differently?

7. the rewrite

how do you build a life whose rules are actually yours?
what are you ready to unsubscribe from?

what you leave with.

Access to the kind of conversations that rarely happen in public.

A chance to ask the questions you actually have, get practical resources, and learn from senior women who have already lived through versions of this moment.

And perhaps most importantly, a community of women navigating what comes next alongside you.

over the last few years, hundreds of women have reached out to me after watching me leave, asking how I knew, how I did it and how they might navigate their own exit.

i spent 21 years at Deloitte. I made partner at 34 and built a career I had worked incredibly hard to achieve. and then I left.

at the time, it felt intensely personal.

i wish I could have sat in a room with women who had already navigated that moment and asked them what I really wanted to know.

not what they built next.

how they knew. what scared them. what they lost and what they gained.

these are the conversations I wish I’d had then. and the ones I want to create now.

who am I?

seven conversations about why women are walking away, what it takes to leave, and what comes after.

we’re not walking away from ambition. we’re taking back the right to define it.
